So I'm decorating this Christmas tree when I realize that one of the things I enjoy most (250R's) I do not have an ornament for. Does anyone have anything for this? I'm sure that I could easily make something and hang it on the tree, (all the way at the top where it belongs). Well if you do, why don't you post a pic, I'm going to go look for one to buy and then make one if I can't find one out there. Also if you know a great place to buy one, let me know. Thanks.

Thanks. i have an all original mint 88 250r that would make a good tree ornament but you better have a sturdy tree if you want it on top, better yet it would look good setting under it.:)

I found some 400ex ones, on the tree they wouldnt look much different. Also they make those custom ornaments and snowglobes with a picture inside. you send them a .jpg and they put the pic inside, like say the calender pics (ahem... )

or yes, puma, troy and TLR get to work :)

You got to get Troy to whip something up. I just make it shiny.

What did I miss? ...You want a water-jet cut-out of a 250r to hang on the tree? I like it! :eek2:

I can draw it, problem comes back to b-spline vs. arcs/lines.. that's caused you problems before.

Let me know if you're serious about one and I'll try and draw it.

Let me know if you're serious about one and I'll try and draw it. if you could cut it out them have a 250r laser etched on it with colors for each year made. hey you might make some build money making them. :devious:

Nice idea, but it will cost WAYY more to make them than what most will be willing to pay, I'm afraid. I'll donate my time to draw them, but cut time, will be costly etc...

Those technical problems can be overcome. The main problem on here is rule #1) these cannot be made to buy or sell. No one can ask how much they are or where they can get them other wise the thread will be deleted.

We can only show pics of ornaments for you to admire. Like when you take a pic of your R or R related stuff to show us how much time you spend making your hobby look awesome. You may comment as to if you like it or not. But remember these are not for sale they are to just "admire".

cant you put them in the for sale section??

you know, it would be nice if there was a site just for 250r parts and related stuff... :ermm:

:blah: :D

even if it was just TRX250R with a 10 degree slant (or so) like in the 88-89 front fender graphics would be sweet, all shiny so you can see it across the room either out of aluminum or steel. That would be easier to design and cut out I would think.

Yeah that would be nice!! A place specifically for TRX250R Parts.... lmao.

I think the ornaments are a great idea, but as troy stated... they will probably be pricey (not the $2 ornament you buy at walmart)

LMAO!! I love it. I could see a huge 250R calendar hanging off the front of the tree (covering most of it). Us 250R Guys are that dedicated :D

You can't see the 10 degrees very well from the pic. Its pretty small, any suggestions?

Nice very nice!!! Lookin good, thats gonna look great on the tree. I think that you should do a whole tree with just 250r ornaments on it. Now thats X-mas "R" style!!!

This snowflake took less time to make. Switched to double sided mirror finish material to create a good looking ornament
from both sides.
