I also agree on that being a nice quad. A lot of new and high end parts throughout...hes probibly got that $$$ into buiding it but its not going to sell at that price. Its been in there a few months.

Worth 12000??? There was a full duncan lobo mx with powervalve, supposibly one of duncans old race bikes, that just ended on ebay. It got all the way to $3800...and the lobo is 2x's the bike this lrd framed 250r is.
Its worth what somebody will pay and nobody will pay that right now...my 2 cents.

Do you really think so? With blue label wheels and Works shocks? Nothing knocking those particular brands, but they are the cheapest aftermarket parts you can buy. And I'm okay with .125 wheels in the sand, so that's not even a big issue, but if he's going as cheap as possible with a major component like shocks, I'm thinking he went cheap alot of other places, too.

I doubt he's got $20k into it. $12k selling price is a joke.

Wow the economy has really took a turn for the better and i missed it. lol just like 5 grand for an average 250r. there is a difference between mint and clean, nice and top of the line.

He might have 12K into it but it doesn't show. Besides the LRD frame, the chrome probably cost a lot, but unless he bought everything new - which I don't think many people do these days it wasn't money well spent.

i'm sure he spent alot on pretty stuff. chrome, polishing, and to anodize i complete frame? that has got to cost some major coin. sure is shinny. too bad shinny don't make you go fast. a nice quad still tho...

He probably saw what mine bid out to on eBay and judged off that. He's local but I've never seen the bike out on the sand or on any forums.
