help with pics

im sure this has been covered but ill be lazy and ask any way.... every time i try and post pics they tell me im to big (insert "thats what she said" joke here) how do i re size them to fit or can i even re size them.??? thanks guys/girls/whoever helps

so if im correct does following these steps replace the pic with a smaller crappy one? or does it create a copy? and if it replaces it say i wanted to print the pic would it then be tiny? and are these steps reversable? thanks for the link btw

After you finish resizing, you can either save the original (meaning you will only have one small file) or you can "Save As" a different file (meaning you will have the original file and a small file).
