Nope other then color.. You will have to trim the top of the shock mounts to get it to go into the pocket on the 400 frame though.

Knock off the nut inside the shock mount for the plastics. Replace the nut with a carriage bolt facing up and use that for plastics. Then cut the shock mount on the front ever so slightly so the shock cleares. Takes like 10 mins total to do the mod.

I'm going to pick up a set of the 450 shocks. Who is good the send them out to be re valved. I'm also going to send the rear out at the same time. I bought this 07 400ex for my son and want to get it to ride and handle better. Its more than fast enough for him.
I'm new to Honda so any suggestions are appreciated. I have a renegade 800 and a outlander 840.

2 places I know of to send it to:

1. C & D Racing. They are on this forum, offer discounts and are good guys to deal with. If you look towards the bottom of the main forum page they have a link where you can request services/products.

2. GT Thunder. Laz is a good guy but you gotta know EXACTLY how you want the suspension setup including measurements and such.

Im sending mine to C & D later this year when the snow comes and I dont ride anymore.

How do you like that renegade 800? At the dunes those things are freaking beast!

Love it but with the 840 my outty is faster. I raced a raptor 700 with the rene last week. I get him off the line for the first 400 ft then he will start to catch me on the top end. Next I left in 4X4 and get so much of a jump he couldnt catch me. Love both machines
