Hawk Pride MX Practice 12/5

Hawk Pride MX is a new track in NW Alabama and recently opened a couple of months back. They're having a quad only practice Sunday the 5th from 10 a.m.-Dark. Practice fee is $20. This is the first time quads will be allowed on the track since it opened. Track is 1.3 miles long with plenty of elevation changes. Practice is on a Sunday so that shouldn't conflict with any of the local races. I don't expect to see riders from all over the state, but it would be nice if a decent crowd of riders showed up from the NW bama area. The quad community as a whole needs to make a good impression on the owner and we may luck up and get another track that welcomes quads on a regular basis. I haven't seen the finished product in person, but I made a trip up during the building process and the track looked awesome. All the comments I've heard from the bike crowd have been positive. The potential is there for a great track. It is surrounded by great facilities including clean restrooms, bike/quad wash, and concession stands. The track was built on the grounds of an exsisting offroad park. Some of you may have heard of Hawk Pride Mountain Offroad park and that's where it is located.
