I am doing two seasons of racing from XC in the summer and ice racing in the winter. The XC set has a set of 20X10X10 in the back and the front has 22X7X10. The rear ice set I have so far is 18X8X10 but the front I am wondering what tire would be a good tire to stud and mount well onto a 10X6 Douglas blue label front rim. I figure if I purchase 4-ply or thicker, then half inch studs should have no problem. The question is, what size (20X10X5-7?) and what tread? Thanks!
