OEM exhaust

I have 6-7 OEM 250r exhaust. Our motorycycle shop has them hanging on the wall in the back from when they where taken of OEM models.

How much would they be worth. I doubt much. But its better to sell them than letting them hang for another 25 years.

Id assume most are... I will have to get some when i get back to the shop. Might be a few days. I think i only have 2-3 OEM mufflers though.

Well how much is a system worth? I dont know if its really worth my time to get them out and sell them.

what are they worth?????well to most R guys nothing siince they are all aftermarket. they are worth something to the guy that is restoring.

Okay so im looking for dollar numbers. I know they are only good for guys restoring them. I will try to get some pics up soon. I have to make it back to the shop where they are stored.

Burns - Just curious the objective of the post - are you trying to clear up space for something that is heavy and mostly worth low $ or are you trying to get top dollar for restoration pieces?

I'm interested in a complete exhaust, but since it's stock, I'm not interested in paying the same as an aftermarket pipe. I'm just interested in it for a secondary trail machine that keeps the decibles low for a mild machine.

I was just checking worth initially, Then everyone started saying they are intrested in buying one. Which is great.

But honestly for 10 bucks a piece its not worth my time to dig them out box them up and ship them. I will let them hang there for that.


That is why i was wondering what they are worth. Because i honestly don't know. I know they aren't worth 100 a piece, not by a long shot.

Nobody has made an offer for one yet, or posted any values. So im just waiting. I will post some pics when i get a chance.

I completely relate, even if it's taking up space sometimes it's not worth the hassle of boxing and shipping so for me I don't have a set price in mind. Tell me what your time and the pipe is worthwhile getting rid of it and if I concur, I'll buy it.
