Ill get some better pics tomorrow, and it will be a roller as soon as i get some new bearings and polish and clean a bunch of parts.

Both the subframe and frame are done, was going to start bolting some parts up but im going to clean and polish a ton of stuff yet.
Going to polish the oil tank, side cases, shock linkage, part of the shock, the throttle cover, and just about whatever else i can clean and polish, i will clear coat some of the parts after i polish them so mayb they will stay shiny (hopefully)

Also, went to bolt up my houser silcast +2 ST arms and they wouldnt fit in the mounts, If i took the little silver covers off they fit but would have a ton of play in them, im thinking that the bushings in them are from 250r arms because they seem to wide.
They fit in without the silver covers but like i said the have alot of play, im thinking about grinding the sleeve down just enough for it to fit, Do u think thats what it is or am i missing something here because there is no way there going to fit in my mounts with the silver cover over the sides of the a-arm that cover the bearings.

Heres the frame and subframe together, dont mind the mess in my garage im in the process of cleaning it out but seems every time i clean it up more stuff comes in

More pics, got my a-arms and shocks on and my swingarm and rear shock.

I need to get some more bolt to put in the bottom front shock mounts and the rear shock linkage mount and where it mounts to the swingarm.

Also need to get a locknut, bought an LSR antifade and i think its for a 450 cause its to small.

Looks sooo nice even apart.

Do you think the 1 and 1/4 axle really helped overall vs stock?

PaRedneckRiders

I have a +4 axle.
So im guessing you mean the + 1 1/4 swingarm.

Im not sure yet haven't road it with it on, i would say it prob makes a difference but not sure how much. (just needed another one since the stock one was junk and got a decent deal on this at 200$)
I will tell u its like 10x heavier than the stocker because its all solid unlike the hollow stocker.

Plus its chrome so i think it looks BA

Ya well cant reflect on it yet, when i get it out on the track and dial in the suspension to where i like it then i reflect on it.
With a stocker on my stock bore 11:1 with a stage one cam and ported and polished i could cruise down the road 5th gear low rpm and just grab a hand full of throttle and pull it up then just ride it till i ran out of road or the road.

So we will see what this ones like when i get her all dialed in.

Im curious to see if it makes it a bit more stable due to length. I always felt the EX is a bit to short.

Going to get some stuff to paint paint off parts so i can polish them.
What parts you guys think i should do?

I already want to do my:
Sidecases
Shock linkage
throttle cover

What else?? just want it to look good with the black/chrome/polished scheme.

Could order a chrome/polished master cyl cover.

Not much else you can polish really besides the head-but thats a CHORE. I would rather send that to be chromed.

Still havent got much done, been really busy lately.

My parts should be in today or tomorrow, so ill go get them then work on it a little each night untill the weekend.

This saturday is our last day of deer season so im gonna be out most of the day hunting.

Then we should seem some progress.

Like i said before i painted my hubs black and i just done like it.
I may took to my buddy about having him powdercoat them, Might try some of the chrome powder coat to see how it turns out.

Thats just my update for now so there should be some more pics, hopefully soon.

Was looking through the pics on my computer today and cam across these.
There pics from when i first bought the quad, so in my eyes its came a long way but i really want to compare these pics to pictures from when its done and see the difference.

Some pics of the new seat, thanks to f4istunna.

Builds been going really slow lately, been buying truck parts and working on all my friends quads.

Decided not to polish all the parts right now, because even though theres snow ill still be riding it and just get them dirty and nasty looking again so i decided to wait till summer when i have some free time.

Got my motor in and figured out why it says my pics have been deletes(because i changed the name they were under)

I cant put my steering stem in yet cause im still waiting on one of the seals.
I got my front wheel bearings now just have to change them (Any tips to make this easier?)

I know the pic sucks but i have yet to find my camera so i have been using my phone.
And like i said before i decided not to polish all my parts yet because as soon as its done ill be riding it snow or not IDC so i dont want to waste all my time polishing just yet
