Im ready to give my 08 450r its first oil change. i got a k&n filter but am curious on what oil to run. Ive been thinking about running lucas because i love there automotive line, but didnt get much response on that post. so i really want to run whats best for my 4 wheeler.

everyone has their own opinions. There is no BEST oil out there. alot of people like the shell rotella T 15w40, the non synthetic can be used in both sides from what ive heard. I personally use the Elf 10w50 full synthetic in both sides and love it. ive also used Belray Thumper 20w50 in both sides and that was great as well

i like rotella 15-40 but im like you i love lucas other products... so you probably cant go wrong with them...

the absolute best oil is CLEAN oil!!!! put in a oil that you can afford to change after every ride. if you can afford hp4 at $10 a quart then great (I cant afford to do that) I run clean new rotella every ride!!!
