You can also go the more inexpensive route and find some Z400 hubs and have them milled down. Find a good used set on Ebay + having a friend with a lathe = much money saved. : )

We run houser or roll design xc aarms with 4:1 offset front wheels and a rpm rear axle which puts us at 46.5" wide.
I have a set of roll xc arms for sale if your interested...

man id try running it stock for a while see how u like it mine is stock arms with fox all the way around i dont ride woods at all hardly but raced a woods race in november and got 5th out of 40 something ppl i entered c class just cause i dont ride woods i beat every1 in ab and c classes and 2 pros i didnt think the width hindered it any tight in several places but could really hammer down in the rutted areas by putting one side in the ruts and the other side on the high side of course i had to borrow some wheels and tires the 18s prob aint a good idea i ran the z400 wheels and tires being 22s on the front and 20s in the rear just to keep from resetting ride height from front to rear as u would with 21 20s

It all depends on where you ride and race. I've been on local tracks where a 46" bike is rubbig tires going through places. My practice track is cut the same way. The narrower you are the faster you can go in the 50" wide stuff anyhow...

That's where a 46" wide bike helps. I can fit through those tighter places Which are faster lines that a 49" wide bike can't...
