Anyone have any insight on this? I just picked up a mint buick century to drive around for a little bit since my dakota died, but its such a nice car, I wanna hook it up. I hate the factory lighting, but what do I need to do to switch to LED and get some bright whites inside?

Thanks

hahaha wow. thanks. I for some reason thought that you had to install a new dome. I had no idea that they sold led style bulbs. Thanks alot guys. Gotta order me some of these and next to come is some interior lighting. After putting leds under the dash and seat of my dakota, I cannot drive a car without interior lights any more.

have you ordered from the site that you mentioned? When I opened the site, google chrome stopped it at first, saying it was unprotected and dangerous

My whole truck is LED. I order all my LEDs from ebay. Screw all these online stores wanting $30 each bulb..

You dont need anything but the bulbs for interior.

yeah I was just thinking of doing that. How do you go about finding the bulbs on ebay? Doesnt each manufacturer use different item numbers and stuff?

Its easy to do. I got mine from http://radlites.com/ Better deal buying a strip than the single light. Used to have bunch of blue ones in my car but took em out. I just have 2 LED lights from RAD in the dome light spot. Nice and bright and could keep the dome light on for days maybe even over a week and be fine when a normal dome light would kill your battery just over night.

thanks for all the help guys. I knew that a bunch of you had converted your lights to led, I was just unsure of the process.

I will post pics once the interior is compleltly done. Doing some ground led lighting (dont call me a ricer, because i do it right and it looks good), the audio system and these led interior lights all finsihed. Planning big things for this car. Its got all the room in the world so I can def do what I want with it. Not sure to throw two tens or two twelves in the trunk

Cool.

I think my favorite LED mod was swapping all the dash lights to blue LED. Looks badass.

exactly how hard is that? You had to pull the cluster and solder new leds on right?

Not hard at all.

Pull the cluster out and pop out the old bulbs and pop in the new ones.

The blue things are all the bulbs. Just twist and they come out.
