ok im rebuilding my motor. i dont no what the jetin is now but when it ran it ran perfect. its was a 440. but no im going to a stock 400. wiseco 11:1 piston, stg 2 hotcam, full fmf power core 4 exhaust. stock valve size. evalation is 0-800. temp is 50-95. after market cdi. stock deg key. fmf says with their exhaust is should be 150-152 main and 40 pilot. but myn has hi comp pistion and cam. i would say 40 pilot 154 main? stock needle position?? any ideas?

id probably go with a 158 to be safe, (but it may be a 155), 3rd needle clip position(stock) 40 pilot with around 2.5-3 turns out on the f/a screw and you should be good to do some plug chops at least. I would think that 158 should do it for you though since you are running a full exhaust that low. steve

150-152 would be for a slip on as per their recommendations imo also. check out this also for pilot adjustment procedures and plug chops if you need it.

thats cause you are running a filter. he didnt say he wanted a filter. if that is the case he will want to go to around a 165 or 162 most likely. it all depends on his exact setup... I gave a suggestion for what he said in his initial post. steve

then that will change it a bit- it will be around a 165-168 then. I would go 168 since you are a bit lower. steve
