i agree. yea its got alot of nice stuff on it but the fact its an 04 hurts it. looks good though man

Ok so lets say you build a new yam 450, how much would you have into it to make it the same? would it be worth the 10,000 diff you would have into it ? just to have a newer bike? or you can go this route, buy a newer 450 lets say an 06-07 pay 2500-3000.00 for a junker and see if it compares to this bike for the same money?? If you can ride this bike it will win , and has without the motor work...When you build your own bike and pay for it yourself you will understand what it cost, if this bike doesnt sell for what i want, i will keep it its that simple, Mike..

realistically its worth 4500.. remember brand new yfz450r's are going for 6200 right now..some even cheaper.

very true!! thats why i havent sold my 06. you cant get anything for them. and $7500 is a stretching it wayyyy too far.

Thanks for all the great info, if everone wouldnt give their bikes away, then, they would hold their value, if you think your bikes are worth 4500 then sell them. I guess the problem is, is that daddy didnt build this bike i did. I dont need to sell maybe i will ride it this weekend, Mike..

It's not that people are giving them away it's the fact that our country is in a reccession and people don't have as much to spend on race bikes as in the past. Four years ago it probably would have sold for your asking price.

ok you guys are right, the economy is bad , call Walsh and ask them to cut you a break on their parts becouse the economy sucks, the way i look at is this, if you spend over 15,000 on building a bike, and you sell it for less than 50% of the original price your taking a big hit, if you can afford to take less than 50% return on all of your purchases, more power to you. Being an 04 or an 08 there is not that much diff in the price of the parts, if it doesnt sell thats ok, thanks, for all of your advice, Mike..
