well a good freind of mine has a 86 frame and plastic and rims and steering stem for a 150 bucks should i do it the 250r has a lot of seditmatal value so ireally want it to be mine but i just dont know about the cost and it has no engine

The frame alone, if it's in good shape, is probably worth $150. The plastics might be valuable depending on what condition they are in.

You say it's a frame, with plastics and rims, are you saying it is a complete quad minus the engine? Like, does it have the swingarm, shocks, axle, A-arms, and all the other stuff? If so, that type of thing is typically called a "rolling chassis", and yes, it's DEFINITELY worth the money. A typical price for a rolling chassis would be around $700-$1000 for a basic stock setup, and more if it had aftermarket upgrades.

not a roller but i was wondering if the 400ex parts can work on this like a arms and swinger or no? it is just a frame, stem with new bushing, thumb throttle, and new razors with 2 back wheels, and gas tank i guess he sold the fenders

Well 400ex a arms will fit with spacers or washers. The 250r a arm mounts are wider... 400ex swing arm... Well 450r swingarm fits a 250r and a 450r swingarm fits a 400ex so i believe a 400ex swing arm will fit
