i recently purchased a z400 and yesterday i was in 5th down the road mid throttle and it started to shake what can i do to prevent this?

Worn bearings/bushings, tires not seated properly, bent rims, flat prevention slime in your tires - all these can cause this issue.

but i checked everything else was fine alo if anyone has a good set of nerfs for a reasonable price let me know or foam for a 04 z400 seat

Some people will put the green slime in there tires to seal up any leaks. Check to make sure your rear axle or front hubs are not bent as well. The easiest way to check this is to put the quad up in the air, and turn the wheels by hand. It will be obvious if something is bent.

Are your a-arms stock, or adjustable aftermarket? If they are caster adjustable, you can add some positive caster to it. This will cause it to be more stabile in straight line acceleration.

I have a like new yellow/black complete seat I'll sell ya. Its got a no-slip seat cover on it. I'd like to get $70 for the complete seat. If your close enough we can just meet and there won't have to be any shipping.

EDIT: Just did some scooping around on ebay for what they're going for.... I'll do $60. They're going for less than when I bought one.
