how are they for motocross. i got a full race yamaha and idk just feel like something different. how does the frame hold up etc...and how is it on the track?
any help would be much appreciated.

Its great as far as i know!! I rode one yesterday on a dealers test track, did hear something about one frame problem but i think that was fixed.

They are fast quads, not gonna lie. My friends brother has one and he keeps up with us on our kawi 450's, but in some sections he just loses speed, i dont know why.

well in a sport where i drop 20k into everyone of my bikes they all end up costing basically the same to build up to race.

Plus i don't see a point in buying a quad that costs more when you are going to end up replacing all of it anyway. lol

Well by my re-search its actually the most expensive 450 that is just a base model not a SE edition. And the MXR is even more expensive than the base model Can-Am.

i also was under the impression that it was the cheapest and it has the ktm motor. i was just consirnded on the frame strength cuz everything else would be aftermarket.

We over at Team Southside have been racing them for 3 seasons now, and we love them.

I can build a new one for someone just like our race bike for 8,500 - 9,500 depending on certain options. But either way its 100% race ready when you pick it up.

Walsh front, Fox Floats, Rage Motor, Rath Aluminum, lowered subframe, dwt rims, quadtech hood & seat, etc, etc.

We debuted our 2011 machine this past weekend at the NEATV banquet, i'll get some pictures up soon.

In 2010 we won 3 championships, over 30 moto wins, 80 moto podiums, & 150 moto top 5s out of 202 motos. Also 0 Dnfs for the season.

That honda is 1000 less... Now if you are getting it from a dealer than you must be getting a different price. I speak in MSRP terms.
