I just got a pioneer 10" sub and a sony 600 watt amp from walmart. i got everything hooked up in my bronco and the amp light comes on but nothing is coming through the sub..any common problems?..the cd players is aftermarket but 11 years old so i dont know if thats the problem

"subwoofer mode" turned on on headunit?

What headunit?

Make sure you hooked up both power wires to the amp. The one for power to the amp and the other to the remote on/off switch.

its a sony 40 x 4 headunit...how would you turn on subwoofer mode?
