anybody with a newer tocam i have a question

I noticed on a buddys toyto tacoma its new probly 2004up its the newer body style i believe anywhom on the front bottom side of the bed it has this tape or decal looking deal that looks like it has the bed linning texture to it. Now that i think about it may have also been an option on the newer 2007 new body style pick-up iv seen it on a few of them. any ways im wanting to know what is and were i could get it. thanks.

Is it the same color as the truck?

Alot of toyota trucks have a few extra layers of paint there, with a rough agent added to them to help protect the rockers. my 96 T100 has it too.

My sister has a Subaru that has this same thing, it is just a protective measure.

As far as i am concerned it is basically painted under-coating. lol I would find some guys on a forum or something that are into mudding they can probably help you more.

Ya I know but those forums can be pretty rough its a decal vynl type application.
