I picked up a clean 08 and built if for recreation. I ride mostly sand, trails and will occasionally hit an MX track. I called Jet Suspension and had them convert my front shocks to long travel and rebuild my rear shock to a dual rate with the GT thunder XC link. I decided to go with SMC MGC arms after talking with him on the phone and I am glad I did. Both of these guys were very willing to work with me to get me the suspension I wanted. The quad came with a full DRD system in a box. It was in pretty sad shape. I sent it to DRD and they totally rebuilt it for 100 bux....it looks like brand new! I had a HRC headpipe that I modified to slip over the DRD silencer. I will see how it works. So far I have only ridden it on my 2.5 acres and it feels really good. I am waiting for a day that is mostly free from rain and I will take it out for a real test. I just thought I would let you know that before you spend a lot of money on your suspension, you should call Nick at Jet suspension. He will save you cash!

how much did it cost to convert your stockers to long travel if you dont mind me asking. And how does it perform

The weather has been uncooperative so I have not been out on it yet. Cost is something you will have to get with Nick at Jet about. He was working to get different parts to make the stockers work with different A Arms so you may not pay the same price I did. He is very helpful.
