Quick ?? about the hotcam stage2

OK I did a search about how to install the hotcam and didn't find it. I'm about to press on the sprocket flange on to the cam, How do I line it up un the cam. I know theres a dot on the side of it. Do I line it up with the missing spline on the cam.

There is a small endentation in the end of the cam the flange goes on. Its circular. Line up one of the flange with that and your all set.

I didnt want to down load it (dialup)so i have another question.I have heard the trick about freezing the cam and heating the flange to get it on.But is there anyway to get it off without a press or beating it off and breaking it?

THats how I got my off. I put the cam in the freezer over night. The next day I took it out and put the cam in vise so it would sit on the decompress flange. then I heated the sproket flange and light bang on the end of the cam. came right out. I very careful and I would think the way i did it isn't the best way to do it but it works,
