Alright, I'll start by saying, this is a great exhaust if you just read this first. The clamp idea originated from CJM but due to him not having his own camera I'll go ahead and explain this.
What you'll want on hand.

The WD40 can make things easier, which may not be needed if you just purchased this exhaust.
Something to pull the springs with, a spanner wrench will work.
Finally, the 2" (51mm) exhaust clamp (Autozone; under $3).
Alright, with this stuff in hand, you are ready to install the exhaust.
You will want to take your mid-pipe out of the box along with the spacer (the spacer for the header/mid-pipe). Take the spacer and put it into the mid-pipe as far as it will go then slip it onto the header and line up the mount (going this route the spacer will not cover the whole end of the header but ultimately saves your ALUMINUM spacer from getting the snot beat out of it).
Example of the spacer getting ruined (because I didn't originally have the clamp):

Put in the bolt and do not tighten it. Put together the strap for the exhaust and put that together then put the pipe onto the mid-pipe along with the bolt and spacer holding on the pipe itself. Tighten both bolts holding the exhaust at this point and put on your springs, then take your clamp and put it on like this.

The exhaust should now be solid and barely leak (if any).
I haven't rode with this rebuild done to the exhaust but immediately it eliminated rattling and most of my leaking situation. Make sure not to over tighten or under tighten the clamp, use good judgment.
If you want to eliminate leak totally (which most should be) you could purchase Clear RTV silicone (http://www.harborfreight.com/3-oz-clear-rtv-silicone-96041.html). Just be sure if you don't order it from here that it can with stand the heat, in this case it can resist up to 500F.
Hope this helps. :p
