Does anyone know what the stock brake line length is from caliper to caliper. I bought some burgard +2 arms and was wondering what length I need. The ones Im looking at say they are 46 inches from caliper to caliper and Im not sure if they will be long enough. Any help would be great.

you should have no problem running your stock lines if you just unclamp them. you may also have to lower the mount in the middle too but the stockers should work well on the +2s, there are many people that run that setup. steve

I like the sound of that... I got a good deal on the arms and not having to buy lines make it that much better... thanks for the info. You da man steve.

no problem, i am still trying to find the actual length of the lines though lol. I know most people dont have any trouble with the lines working. steve

Well it seemed weird to me that the ones I was looking at said they were 46 inches. No other ones I looked at gave any length. I think Ill go out tomorrow with a tape and find out.

i think 46 inches would be all the way up to the bars and the master. that is a long length anyway. steve

2 real types you can get:

Ones that connect up to the stock system where it diverts or (like me) full lines that run from the master to your calipers.

The full lines need a special bolt at the master that has 2 holes not 1 and is much longer than the stock one.

I have no issues with mine, but to clean it up bit Im gonna get one similar to the stock sooner or later.
