You know, every time I tell myself "I'm done putting money in my quad" one of you butt heads come along and post pictures of your awesome quad. And make me spend a butt load more money on mine. Lol I guess that's the fun in owning an R though. Lol. Sweet ride.

Truly a work of art.

Not to be the nitpicky type, but a quad of that caliber deserves much better paddles than Geckos :p

I agree with Wilkin on that. Top quality parts, then some cheap tires?

With the IMS tank and LRD frame I run a ATC 250R fuel petcock which tucks it under the tank. Looks clean and out of the way...

I actually really like those rear paddle tires, but either way they are coming off and some Hauler Extremes will be mounted tomorrow. The fronts are actually high dollar units....

I'd also be interested to see what it weighs cuz I don't think it's that light. Sick quad, tho!

Unbelievable!!!! that thing is amazing. Next years calendar for sure. On the weight thing I bet it is higher than we think, 315 to 320.

Nice score. What a collection of aftermarket parts.

At least. The frame is the only light weight part on it and I think they weigh about ten pounds less than a comparable chromoly frame.

Hey Robert! I found this one in Missouri. It was actually listed on e-bay but did not hit the reserve, so I called him and worked out a deal...

Yeah, I had never seen those tires either. They are made by King's Tire and called the "Sand Rib"....

Are they heavy at all? Those look exactly like the sand tires my buddy just bought for his sand rail, but I didn't know they made them for ATV's... That's awesome!

Well.....they are not light! Or at least do not appear to be! THE beadlocks are really heavy so it is hard to tell how heavy the tires are....

Yes, that worries me a bit. Right now the only solution is to use a green sticker from another frame I have.

Ha!!! Well....there goes my theory. At least they look high dollar! I had never seen them before, so assumed they were some custom jobbies. And not to worry, I had the Hauler extremes put on the back rims today........looks sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave you some crap on the other site about the gecko's. I guess everyone here that has an opinion about gecko's has the same dark secret in the closet, we all must have owned some at one time or another.

I noticed that trx250racer said he's from Madera.

dquarton, are you from central Cal?

If so, I'm thinking planned dune trip and if I beg long enough and let you ride my laeger bike, pleeeeease let me ride it.

Ok,Ok,Ok, at least let me sit on it.

Where are you planning a trip to?? I actually live on Orange County, CA. Will be in Glamis over Thanksgiving weekend, and possibly New Years. Planning a trip to Winchester in the Spring some time and Glamis again in March for the IMperial invasion. So, if you are around any of those times, you are more than welcome to ride it!

March sounds like a good tentative plan, I'll PM you when it gets closer.

My Laeger bike is getting a facelift between now and then.

Actually the two bikes together would be a neat comparison.

Both have ESR 350PV with custom porting, both have all the goodies.

It would basically be LRD aluminum compared to Laeger chromoly.

Axis compared to PEP. And No-link to CR 500.

I've got some friends at Sand Addiction Mag. I'll put a bug in their ear for a page or two. There's always a chance right!

I know of one thing that if your bike doesn't have yet, you should definetely install is a Magura Clutch lever. I went from a heavy 3 finger pull with and ASV lever to the Magura and now I can 1 finger it.
