I recently got my motor back after it had a +4 hot rod crank put in. It started up fine and seemed to have a lot of power but it did seem to have a noticeable increase in vibration. Is this normal?
Part of the reason I'm asking is that there seemed to be a clanking noise when riding at low RPM. I thought maybe this was just the pipe hitting the frame because of the increase of vibrate but the head gasket blew after riding for probably 10 min and now I'm wondering if something is majorly wrong.
The engine builder said he had to buy a different gasket then what i gave him because of the bore being larger then stock. No clue what brand gasket he used.
Haven't had a chance to take it apart yet but wanted to see what some of you who had this work done before had to say.
