Can you run 4:1 offset Hiper wheels with the T-pin spindles? I heard you can't but would like to confirm before I order a set of wheels.

I run 4-1 billet shamrocks on my protrax front end. They are closer to the 4-1 offset then hiper fronts which is about a 3 1/2"-1 1/2" offset when measured with a tape measure. Keep in mind that my protrax is on a laeger banshee that uses the older t pin spindle with 250r calipers...same geometry though.

I also run shamrocks but i believe they fit the older 250r style brake spindle. I know I had 3+2 hipers on one of my front ends. Unless you have a +4 its really meant to run 3+2 wheels.

Yea, I bought 312R1's +4, that's why I was questioning it. This is just what I heard, that the "thicker" CF composite would rub on the the t-pin spindle. I have no proof of that or a link to provide for the conversation. ...Just hearsay. It also uses 250r brakes.

Hey Troy

These might be the older hypers but they're 4/1 and they work with the Laeger T-pins & 250R calipers.

I am not sure of diferences in the t-pins but I'm running 3/2's and look how close the are to the spindle. I tried a set of 4/1 douglas with double beadlocks and I had to run spacer's to keep the inner rings from hitting. I haven't tried front hiper's but I can see where the hear say is coming from.

I'm using 4:1 on a +3, its close, there is no rubbing. they are hyper rims, also.
