My son has a stock 2007 xtreme typhoon 90 we bought for him in October of this year. It is a new bike and I was wanting to know what you guys are doing to help make them a little more waterproof. We mostly trailride and when we come to small creek crossing he either has to idle through it or it stalls out.It will fire right back up and doesnt run like digested any water into the carb. Ive read else where on this site about the plug boot getting wet, just wanting to gather all the info I can. Any help would be great. Im new to the minis my son Adam just turned 7 and loves it. The xtreme ripps up all the other stock youth atvs at the local trails, even with kids older and much more experienced. Thanks

We have that issue as well. I think it's a combination of the carb breathing in mist from the spray as well as the plug getting wet. If it's just rain we're good. But if he runs through a puddle it spits and sputters. My advice,,,, don't ride when the ground is drenched lol.
