Well Friday was the big day . Drove a few hours but it was well worth it. The 1969 Cuda is officially home and this thing looks sawwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeetttttt!! The dude that did all the body work did an amazing job . It's been painted a dark cherry red ( so red it looks burgandy) with satin black hood and bumpers all the way around . Just waiting on a few pieces of chrome to come in and carpets for the interior . If i can get my digital camera to work , I'll take a few pics of it . I'm stoked!!!

Heres one of the pics before the work was done . Look near the rear fender and the rocker pannel, you can see the rust / rot that was there before it went into the shop

Another .....I'll try and get the new pics up tomorrow , it's too late and too cold to go out and snap pics right now
That is one of my favorite cars! What do you have for a power plant?
My first car was a '70 Duster...put a few motor combos in it...318/340 with various head/cam configurations. Always wanted to put a 440 in it:( I just sold it a few years ago:(

It will be running a 340 with a mild cam and a few other little goodies . Not going to far out on performance mods since it will be more of a street/show car than previous drag cars that we have built . I'll get pics up as soon as my digital camera decides it wants to work for me . Hopefully tonight .

I got it done by a guy in North Bay by the name of Ray Sutton , he owns Sutton Autobody . This guy has done restorations on cars that have won Canada wide and International competitions . I'd recommend him to anyone looking for quality work .
The car is an automatic . Going to be installing a ratchet style B&M shifter in it . Throw on a nice set of mags with 10 inch Micky Thompson street slicks. Not sure if I should go with the original interior or put in a set of aftermarket buckets in it . Can't wait till the spring when i get her fired up and on the streets.
its just like nash bridges car:eek: sorta

I read the other day that Don Johnson auctioned off some of his cars, including the Cuda from the Nash Bridges show.
Believe it or not, he got $170,000 for it. That's star power for you. He's so arrogant, that while it was being auctioned, he was yelling "c'mon people, my ***** has been in that seat". Can you believe that *****.

I heard that he SOLD the Ferrari that was GIVEN to him by the owner of Ferrari...That is just tacky:rolleyes: Unless he gave the money to charity...
