Works 250r Rear Shock

I was looking at a used Works 250r rear shock and wondered if it will fit the 400ex.It's 16 1/4" long which is what I think the ex one is but I want to make sure before I buy it.Thanks!

the clevis on the bottom of the 250r shock is wider and shorter, while the 400ex clevis is thinner and taller, the top eye on the r is wider than the ex as well, so its a no go
