wheel spacers.............

i got a 05 brute sra...its a bit narrow and im a bit limited as far as leaning off the quad to compensate on side hills and even cornering

i raced mx for yrs i know wheelspacers are a big no no....but on a 4x4 what choice do you have? thing is ive ridden sport quads with spacers and man... they handled like crap, if i added 2-3 inches to the overall width, would i notice much of a difference in the handling of the front end? this has a strut style front end, not a a-arm setup

I don't think it would be a huge deal... the problems come in when you start get huge... the only thing i wouldn't like is this will leaver your calipers and discs out in the open for mud, rocks, sticks, etc... just a thought.
