So guys is this an acceptable replacement motor?
http://www.tboltusa.com/store/yx-120cc-start-semi-auto-p-1681.html?osCsid=71c582fc5c32e79b413c046857da52df

I am needing a replacement for a bike I found for my daughter and want to stay with a semi auto and E start. Is this going to be a motor that will last or should i stay away from all 120-125cc motors?
She isnt a racer just need a good solid bike for woods and dunes.

Thanks

Should be good for trail riding. As for durability I don't think many actually know as most of us have upgraded to full manual shift motors. I can tell you that Jams old Kazuma 90 semi auto engine gave us no issues. I just think the Typhoon cranks had their own issues due to the cranks used in them.

these YX 120cc are a direct replacement for guys who want a big semi

the clutch/crank is totally different , very sturdy and NOT the same as Typhoon 125

Great that is what wanted to know.
Sounds like this is the way I'm gonna go then.
Thank you very much.

Got the motor popped the stator from the Xtreme in it and the nuetral indicator switch also that way the harnesses snapped right together no wiring needed, bolted it in and it runs great so far.
1st gear is way lower that the Xtremes was though pretty much useless with stock gearing but thats ok cause for now my little girl just rides in second anyway.
