400 frames all the same?

hey i was wondering if all the 99-05 frames are the same. if anyone know that would be great thanks.

I have a 2006 frame on my 2000 400EX. They are the same for major components like the engine and accessories. On the 2004 and up frames, there are minor differences such as welded on tabs for the headlight, wiring harness, and CDI box. Newer frames have also been reinforced at the upper front shock mount area, which is an area prone to develop cracks on older frames.

yeah i dont run headlights.i have a 99 but im getting a 01 frame.just wondering if it would work before i buy it. so everything should fit like the major parts right

99 and 01 are both identical. Both are 1st generation 400EX's so no changes were made.
