I have an 08ltr and would like to take the choke off. Has anyone done this?

Yes, done it.Removed choke lever and cable. You leave the plunger, spring and cable holder in the tb. You can also purchase a cap from Yoshimura instead of using the cable holder. Works well and cleans things up.

you can take every thing off including the cable then take the plastic nut thats on the throttle body that hold the cable in and put a silicone in it(the plastic nut) let it dry and screw the cap back on.
get rid of the whole blob! yoshi sells a direct plug unit the deletes everything and leaves you with a simple push button start

finally got the yoshimura block off nut, it was not hard at all to install, it is nice not having that cable on my bars anymore. next will be the yoshimura start button.
