What do I have, I have 3 CDI, 3 Flywheels, and 1 ESR plate, not sure what it is. All the CDIs have different numbers on them.

Can anyone help or is there any way for me to identify them?

Thanks,
Dave

The CDI with the harness plugged in is an 89, that is the one you want to run, the other 2 are 86 and 87 I think. That plate is the adaptor plate for the CR ignition. How would I have known all that?

How much you thinking about selling the bare stator for?

Looks like you have a lightened flywheel on the right side as well...

Carlos.

Man, I need to change my User name to night rider since I think I am the only one around that still enjoys the pleasure of the moons glory !!!!

Ba Humbug on the CR, I want my cake and eat it too...

i.e. .. CR-Ing.. AND Lights !!!

Hmm, I wounder if I bought the CR ingnition conversion and then bought a ricky stator rewound for lights... would that even work?

I wounder if there would be any benefits over stock?

I've been thinking about trying to design a CR ignition with lights, I might be able to do it, but I just don't have the capital to do it right now. I'd need a CR ignition and several stock 250r ignitions.

My 200 watt stator is barely enough for my dual HID setup, at lower rpm's I have to turn off one light. I guess you could get by with the 50 watts, but I know I wouldn't have much fun at night because it would not be enough light for aggressive riding. As far as I am concerned, 50 watts just is not adequate for a good lighting setup.

I have a CR ignition and I like to ride at night, I just swap back to my stock TRX igniton before a night ride. Sucks I have to spend the time to swap, but the CR ignition is really nice!

Switching would get seriously old. I quit using my CR due to that. Not sure if anyone ever rode an early banshee but they had low wattage stators and the lights sucked. I blew J-arms off twice on my dads bike at night because I didn't see the tree and the chevy until it was too late.

I know I'm not the only guy that back in the day blew up the R and went to the backup= dirtbike. When everyone was leaving to go night riding you get pretty creative with duct tape and flashlights.

Didn't ever turn out very good but god bless
Coors-age and knowing Bud-der than to try that again for the fourth time. Someone could get tequilled doing that.
