stocks 15-38

1 down in front is = to 3 up in rear

then add in what size tires.

we always ran 14-36. that always had great acceleration and i thought it had good top end still. I also used to run 18 inch tires for mx

Always thought/read stock 250X/300EX is 13/38....

I gotta get my 92' 250X together first and see how it feels on our trails. Its still has 13/38.

I have 13/33 on my quad. Trail riding it work's great BUT climbing hill's it's a little weak in torque.I have to keep it revved up no idling around. And my Quad is a 87 250X with a 350X motor with 22 inch rear tire's.

thanks for all the input yall. Do any of you know if a Case Saver will fit on when you put a 14 tooth sprocket on the front?

13-38 is stock with 22" tires. i run 13-38 with 20" tires, i can climb anything but it does spin easy if playing on the throttle. i think 14-38 would be fine and yes the case saver fits. or 13-36 would be fine too. basicly the same.
