if i want to race atv what are the things they look for that you have to have like boots and crap just them main things not every little detail

MUST HAVES ARE HELMET, GOGGLES AND BOOTS.

NECK BRACES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I DONT RIDE WITHOUT ONE.
SOME PEOPLE WEAR CHEST PROTECTORS TOO, BUT iD SAY NECK PROTECTION IS MORE IMPORTANT

Kill switch and nerf bars are pretty standard for any organized racing

Nerfs and a kill switch....
Number plates.
Do not rule out your Safety First!

if racing in alot of brush the nerfs just get hung up. and the kill switch just causes problems. if there is no one for your bike to run into in the middle of the desert.

number plates break off so if it isn't required I don't run it.

ATVA event, your gonna need a kill switch. Protection boils down to the type of racing you plan on doing.
