i have stock cylinder no port work v force 2 reeds w spacer plate pro design cool head 20cc dome esr 5 pipe 39 pwk carb and i live in kansas. I kno every motor is different but im looking for a "idea" for a starting point on what pilot jet main jet type of needle what clip position and what gap to put on spark plug??? i usually run ngk br8es and mix my fuel 4 oz per gallon. right now i have 50 pilot and 172 main is this in the ball park????? any knowlegable imput is appriciated thanks!!!

50 size pilot and 172 main are in the ballpark, like most will tell you and as you already know, every engine is different and key board jetting is not the way to go.

Be safe and start out rich; try a 52-54 pilot and 178 main, clip at 3rd -4th needle position and airscrew set at 1 ¾ turns out, clean air filter, new muffler packing material, .022"-.024" spark Gap, and 32/1 gas to oil ratio, run some Castor based oil like Maxima 927…this is my opinion of a safe place to start…

Carlos pretty much summed it up. Only thing I do different is gap my plug around .018-.020 ;)
