oil tank

i stripped my oil tank out, so i put in a heli coil and a brass washer. it leaked. so when i took it out the second time i realized the heli coil was slightly crooked causing the bolt head to not sit flush, its very slightly raised on one side. would a rubber o-ring seal it? or should i redrill. didnt know if anyone has had that problem. thanks.

I had the same problem, I just drilled it out and went up a size and it has worked fine.

just done the same things, im gonna drill it out thanks

i just put a think rubber washer in. works great.
