tank cover issue

Im picking up a new tank cover for my 07 tonight, but the problem is is that its a 08+ tank cover, do i have to mod it at all to fit?

yes, you have to trim it. there is no way to have it fit like it should on the 04-07 tanks, the only thing that will hold it on is the gas cap... they look good when they are done though and it doesnt really matter that the cap is the only thing holding it on. just take your time with it

i just went and picked up the cover and tank for an 08 at east coast
