Gen X Hood

I was considering getting a Generation X hood for my 2007 400EX. I have stock plastics - which I like - but I'd like to remove the headlight and replace the hood.

Gen X doesn't make a hood specifically for the 400EX. They do, however, make them for the 450R and the 300EX. Does anyone know if either of these would work for me, and, if so, which one would work better?

correct me if im wrong but i think genx did make a 400ex hood....they are just very hard to come by, i think they quit production now

and i would go with the 450r hood...many users have installed them on there 400 and if you search you can read for hours on how to install it
