Just wanted to let everyone know I'll be racing my 250R at the Pontiac Silverdome this Saturday.

I thought they TORE down the Silverdome ????

That's why they switched the Supercross' to Ford Field ....for 2 years....and now they don't go to Michigan at all

No, they didn't tear the Silverdome down. That was old Tiger Stadium. The Silverdome was sold to some investors from Canada. I don't know too much about the event. It's called the Midwest Monster Truck Fall Shootout. From what I gather, the people that are more or less renting the Silverdome to put on this monster truck show are doing this on a somewhat trial basis. I think they are testing the waters and if they do ok they will use the Silverdome for more of these events. I think it should be a good turnout. There has been a lot of advertising. All the popular local radio stations will be there. Should be a good time.

I've been getting filled in a little bit about tm and I guess it's not real racing, it's all gonna be staged to put on the best show for the fans. Not a big deal really. At least I'll be repping the 250R in front of thousands of people!

typical quad wars entertainment for the fans at a monster truck show...

but its still fun


we used to get really into messing with the crowd and claiming that some of the guys were from out of start or opposing college towns. staged crashes that turned into brawls and etc. crowds would go nuts over it.

I'll do a better write up when i get time but I just wanted to say the Silverdome racing went good. It was fun! I repped the 250R well and even tho I was the only 250R i still rode and raced with some of the riders of yesterday, including Jim Hardy, Randy Dinkins, and Hank Dehart. It was a blast!
