It may be alittle weird but I use carpet seam glue :blah It seems to hold well, and the ends of my grips get holes in them before the glue gives.

I use some stuff called "The Welder". I have 1 tube of it somewhere... Can't find it anywhere at my house anymore, and I don't know where I can get any more. This stuff WORKS! I also advise you to use a safety wire. I had a grip come off once that lead to 3 broken ribs and 2 cracked vertebrae ;)

i use super weatherstrip adhesive...i was staring at the rack of glue, figured grips are rubber, bars are metal...sounded kinda the same as weatherstrip on a car door....works awesome so far. another tip, run a bead of glue or silicon around the handlebar at the inside end of the grip, keeps the water out.

5-Min. Epoxy here. Damn things are never coming off.

When I get new grips, I just take a razor blade and make a cut down the length of the grip and it peels off with a bit of pulling. Not to hard though.

Epoxy or ShooGOO works wonders, I've also used gas, pour some in the grip, and slid it on the bars, poke a small hole in the end of the grip to let the vapors escape.

The reason Gas works is because it melts the rubber inside the grip to the bars.

3M weather stip adheasive is the best stuff I have ever found! You can get it at NAPA. No need for saftey wire either.

i also use SCOTT GRIP STICK, it works well as long as the bars are clean, if they are dirty, it wont stick

MX26, I second that. i was in the lead of a race this past year and lwhen I left the ramp my wheels hit a divit which jerked my handgrip off in my hands. Luckily I had my body in the right place and I jumped the double with one hand behind my back. I am a little old to have crap in my shorts but trust me it wasnt pretty. I did end up finishing 3rd that race. It amazes me how much the grips take the bouncing out of the handlebars. My hands hurt so bad after that one from being shaken and bounced badly. Mo:confused2

Sorry to hear that. I was running an evening practice on a track near my house when mine came off. I had been battling with the grip all day keeping it on, and it came off right in the worst possible place. 4th gear pinned on my Shee down a rutted straight with 2' embankments on both sides. Jerked the bars right, flipped and got smashed into the ground. From now on, I'll have a zip tie or some safety wire around mine
