i dont see why they are trying to shut down p2p networking everywhere it will never work. because if you shut down one. there are hundreds more to replace just that one network

On a side note...

How can I transfer a song from a video from my Huevos DVD's to an MP3 format and transfer it to iTunes?

Is it possible?

i personally use bittorrent, and love it compared to frostwire/limewire. So much easier to find songs, can download whole discography's from artists in one download...... i think it may even be safer than using the p2p networks imho. Been using it for 3 or 4 years now with not a single issue compared to when i used limewire and it was like i got a new virrus every other week.

why arent more people torrenting? Torrents are the most efficient way to get what you want. I have a 8Mbps connection and can grab a full 150mb album in about a minute and a half. I use utorrent and it lets you select what parts of the torrent you want to download when you first open the torrent file. No need to download the songs that you dont want

Torrents are the best, my only complaint is you usually cant nab just one song if you want it tho-gotta get the full album unless you use u-torent and select what file you want.

the Limewire system was really outdated, it was basically a crappy bittorrent client with a complicated search engine included.

I never used Limewire, but my sister did, and it did more harm to her computer than you could imagine.

The most efficient way to download music "Free" is this way.

1. Download uTorrent - This is the client that reads .torrent files and downloads the contents from other users.

http://www.utorrent.com/

2. Pick a torrent site, my favorites are -

The Pirate Bay - http://thepiratebay.org/
IsoHunt - http://isohunt.com/
MiniNova - http://www.mininova.org/

3. Simply enter the name of the Song/Album/Movie/Game or whatever you are looking for in the search bar of the site...

(Optional) 4. To be safe I usually Sort the list by # of seeds (Uploaders), Most files with 50-10000 seeds will not be infected with a virus, so i pick the one with the most.

5. download the .torrent and open in uTorrent, press ok, wait for the % of the file to get to 100.

6. (VERY IMPORTANT!!!) after the file has finished downloading, it will start uploading, it is very important that you stop the file when it has a blue UP arrow by it.

7. Look in Users/Downloads, and all your files are there.
