PEP rear shock Question

I have a PEP rear shock that I purchased for my R. I was told it was set up for MX ,185 rider.

What I noticed it it's quite stiff compared to the stocker. also there is a sticker on the spring that sasys 275. Is that sound correct? This is a Zero preload rear shock.
