Hand Guard help!!

I took my powermadd handguards with the handwrap of my yfz 450 today. I went to put them on my 450x to find metal in the bar and was blocking the handwrap to get in it. What is it and can i take it out? Need help asap!!!!

pretty sure you gotta drill it out. its just like a cap on the bar ends. drill a small hole first to make sure
