I am pretty sure they will fit. I mean 400Ex shocks fit 250Rs so I am thinking 250R shocks will fit a 400.

Yes they will fit.

It depends how how long the shocks are. If hes using stock a-arms, the ground clearance/center gravity might raise up a bit.

Correct me if im wrong.

DUDE!!!

The shocks will fit,and will work like a charm....Unless he's liek 300lb and there valved for a 130lb guy w/ std a-arms,then he will be a.ok...

I mean R and EX shocks are exacley the same pretty much...its not rocket sciene,c'mon folks get it together....

Yes, 400EX shocks fit 250R's, and vice versa.

What about the rear shock? Will a pep rear shock fit? I know a guy that has one for real cheap but he does not know weather it is for a ex or r. It is in real good condition for being used so I would not mind picking it up

it will not fit because a r rear shock is a non link while a 400ex is a link..i think thAT IS THE ANSWER..BUT DONT COUNT ON IT..IVE HEARD IT BEFORE THOUGH

Dude R's and EX's are both Linkage rear's....non of them are no link,so a R rear shocks will fit an EX....

For those of you who dont know your R's and EX's. The rear shock on those bikes are NOT the same. Yes they both have links but the R's goes inside the like while the Ex's surrounds the link. Out!

Parden me guys. I'm the moron! According to Riva's web site the shocks both look the same. I guess the links them selves are litte different. Sorry bout that!
