no, it was for my junior level pro class.

we had to make a part in pro e, which we use all the time, adn then had to duplicate the part in autodesk inventor, which i can use pretty well.

I made the actuall wheel and the lockers as revolves around a symmetric axis.

then i had to do surface patchwork in able to cut the different cuts on the curved surfaces.

I honestly though it was easier to remake it in inventor thatn it was to do in pro e...

i used to have bunches of parts saved that i could show you, but i had to delete them cause they were taking up to much space.

ya inventor is really easy to use, however it deosnt have the overal functionality that pro-e or solidworks has...

pro-e is to freaking expensive though...if you were to get it with the basic bells and whistles and not all the extra modules..its $16,000 for a seat

I HATED doing this when I was in college. Only things I ever need documented is parts lists!

I'm a wizard with AutoCAD, I wish I had taken it further and gotten into some of the 3D modeling software...

I'm focusing on the architecture side of programs but once in a while i'll mess with Inventor or Autocad 3D.

Here's a CF Brake rezi cover I did in Inventor.
