Main shaft

Just need to comfirm the transmission main shaft should turn freely if the trans is in neutral right? It should not stop say almost one full turn in either direction.

both shafts should turn freely in neutral, even in gear the shafts spin freely but are connected so you wouldnt be able to hold one and spin the other.. in neutral you could hold one and spin the other

Thats what I thought just making sure. Looks like another tear down then. I can turn it almost one full turn either way and then it hits something.
