Plastic renew tricks??

My quadtech hood some roost marks a scrapes on it. Anyone know any tricks to polish it back to new. I hear somewhere that you could use aluminum polish on it?

fine grit sandpaper and heat gun

go to walmart and buy "Plastic Renew"

I guess this infos a lil too late but my quad has white plastics witch are crazy hard to keep looking good in xc races..... I've started wrapping all my plastics with a few layers of clear sticker. Basicly a 3 ft wide roll of tape and I cut it to fit n use a heat gun..... it gets scratched up just Peel back to a new layer
