i have a 2003 400ex with plus 2 a arms they were on it when i bought it the issue is it needs new bushings i tryed buying a set of oem replacement bushings and they dont fit. i have no clue what kind of a arms they are is there a way to identify them? or am i screwed?

they have been painted they used to be a graphite color with a hammered finish

They look to be either Burgard or old JD Performance arms. Replacement bushings (and tubes) from either will work. JB Racing had the best price on ball joints for them (14mm), maybe they'll have bushings also.

i noticed you have +2 jd a arms do these look simular to yours or are these older?

They look just like mine, except yours are actually for a 400ex so the top arm ball joint angle is correct. I was told mine were JD Performance arms for a 250R, but the Burgards look the same also. I had to order bushings and tubes (whatever they call them) when I got mine. I got them from JD Performance for around $60 for everything. I'm sure JD Performance or Burgard would give you a measurement to verify you get the correct bushings, but either should fit fine.

got in touch with someone at jd performance today and i was told that jd would be laser cut into the shock mount and it is not im gonna try to see if they will tell me the size if the bushing to compare

Did he (I assume this was Dave?) say that they laser cut JD into all their a-arms, or were some early arms not cut? I think yours (and probably mine) are burgard recreational a-arms. However, the bushings from JD fit mine.

yea i spoke to dave and i didnt ask about any specific year im just going to order them i guess if they dont work ill just sell them to you for more then i paid lol
