oil tank blues

looking for a used oil tank for 99 400ex. does anyone that has changed theirs still have their stock one? or does anyone know where to get a used one? I twisted the bottom off mine. my motor will be back on the 14th and i wont even be able to start the beast!! Thanks alot.

Look in the phone book for some local welding shops that do aluminum welding they can weld it back together.

I twisted off the plug of my oil tank the day before leaving for a four day riding trip. I found local welding shops that did aluminum welding and $15 a day later it was on and ready for the trip. That was two years ago and it is still holding strong.

I just did the same damn thinh on friday. took it to a welder. It will be stronger than the stock way now.
